Compliancy Services and Portman Compliance come together under the new company name Cosegic

Compliancy Services (Compliancy) and Portman Compliance (Portman) are very pleased to announce that, after merging in June 2022, today they come together under a new company name, Cosegic.

Both companies share the same values and beliefs when it comes to client service and delivery. By combining resources in the past year they have grown even stronger together, making significant steps forward in building a business that leads the industry and offers its clients first-class consultancy across multiple financial sectors.

The decision to come together under a new name was one of the first business objectives when the firms merged in 2022. Both firms wanted to let both brands co-exist initially, as it gave the opportunity to identify strengths across both companies and how they could build on those by bringing them together under a new brand that truly represented the newly combined business.

The name Cosegic is a contraction of the words ‘consultancy’ and ‘strategic’ and so supports the partnership, serious thinking and strategic planning that goes with the class-leading compliance services that Cosegic provides to its clients. Indeed, in the combined thirty years that Compliancy and Portman have been supporting firms, compliance obligations have increased significantly. To support firms in being both commercially successful, whilst managing their compliance risk, Cosegic will strategically work with clients from the inception to the maturity of their businesses. This is done in such a way that builds compliance into what clients do on a day-to-day basis, rather than a bolt on or an afterthought.

Cosegic has continued to build out its resourcing, services and offerings over the year since Compliancy and Portman merged, to specifically to help its clients confidently navigate regulation in a way that will keep their vision and objectives intact. Compliance confidence for visionary growth is the difference in the compliance services sector, that only Cosegic delivers on.
